Day 1: Depart your location in a spacious, video & restroom equipped Motorcoach as you head toward East Moline, IL. Where upon arrival, you will check into the Hyatt(East Moline). After check-in, you will make the short journey to the Historical Circa 21 Dinner Theater for a night of hilarious entertainment while enjoying a hearty supper prepared especially for our group. After the show, you will head back to the Hyatt for a good nights rest, which will be just what the doctor ordered in preparation for a big day #2!.
Day 2: Rise & Shine! It’s an early morning checkout & departure today as you take a short journey to the “Celebration Belle” for a perfect day on the river! The Celebration Belle is a family owned, 750 passenger Riverboat. You will enjoy a full day on the Mississippi River cruising one of the most beautiful sections. You will cruise thru 2 lock & dams on this journey. There are 2 observation decks with tables & chairs to sit outside & enjoy the scenic views, a gift shop on 3rd deck and you can visit the Captain in the pilot house. The entertainment is wonderful and includes a dance floor. And did I mention? The voyage includes a full breakfast buffet, full lunch buffet & full prime rib dinner buffet. Upon the completion of the cruise(Dubuque, IA) your motorcoach awaits, to take you to the Holiday Inn(Dubuque) for the 1st of 2 nights lodging.
Day 3: After a complimentary hot breakfast, it’s time to get started on a busy day of sightseeing & attractions. Your professional guide will lead you on your journey, which begins at the “National Farm Toy Museum”. Take a small scale adventure into the history of agriculture! Revel in the Museum's collections of farm toys and unique exhibits on ag's amazing history. Upon departure, it’s off to the “Field of Dreams”! Experience the magic of this famous movie site as a Ghost Player gives the history of how Universal Studios found this location, changes they made to the house and how being a part of the Ghost Players brought them baseball adventures around the world! After departure, the group will visit “St. Francis Xavier Basilica” Here from the guide about the history of the church and how this beautiful structure underwent a nearly $1 million interior refurbishment. Up next, is the “If You Build It Exhibit” Experience the history of the most iconic baseball field and explore the community that calls it home. Enjoy a delicious lunch at “Fuse”. A chicken sandwich on a brioche bun & fries will be today’s special. Now it’s time to start the 2nd half of the day, which starts with a visit to the “National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium”. The only one of it’s kind on the Upper Mississippi River that is associated with the Smithsonian Institute. 14-acre campus filled with movies about our rivers and oceans, hands on exhibits and so much more. After departing the Museum the group will make a stop back to the hotel to freshen up before departing for a “Historic Progressive Dinner” Your group will enjoy a guided tour of Dubuque’s rich history. Enjoy an appetizer, main course and dessert along the way. Stops are: 7 Hills Event Center, Steeple Square & Fannie Stout House.
Day 4: This morning will be breakfast then departure for your next enroute stay at “Four Winds Casino Resort” in New Buffalo, Mi. Four Winds is one of the most sought after overnight Casino/Resorts in the Midwest and is sure to leave a lasting impression. Complimentary slot play & dining will be offered this evening.
Day 5: After breakfast on your own this morning it will be time to begin the final leg of this journey of a lifetime. We hope you enjoyed your trip and look forward to seeing you again soon!
